Wild Spirit
A sunlit dreamy day to take your bestie out to your favourite blossom tree. These gave us both major Bridgerton vibes, too. Yet another example of how springtime is the best time.
Fog is my favourite - the way light glows, mist covering and darkening the woods, the eerie and atmospheric magic of it - I have always been drawn to shooting in this weather and I was so overjoyed for this sweet little session with Kat at Island 22.
This winter I’ve found my editing has been a bit moodier and darker - not sure if that’s the mood or just where my hearts at these days, and not sure it’ll stick around for the colour and vibrancy of spring, but if there’s one thing I’ve always loved about creating art it’s that it’s constantly changing, adapting, growing, unfolding - this is totally counter to what other photographers may say, but what I love best is editing for the session instead of for the consistency of my Instagram feed. Some sessions just WANT to be a bit moodier.

Wild Spirit sessions are about taking empowered portraits, whether that’s in a flowing dress, underwear or running naked through the forest.
